ROBERT PLANT, ALISON KRAUSS Take Part In Hour-Long Interview With SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO
October 30, 2007Legendary LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant and Americana-bluegrass great Alison Krauss recently sat down for an intimate interview with Sirius Satellite Radio host Meg Griffin.
During the hour-long interview, the duo discussed their collaboration on their recently released CD "Raising Sand", and how a mutual love for "roots music" made their partnership seamless. The album, produced by T Bone Burnett, whose credits include the successful soundtrack to "O Brother Where Art Thou", features covers of THE EVERLY BROTHERS, TOM WAITS and the late TOWNES VAN ZANDT.
"Raising Sand with Robert Plant & Alison Krauss" will air on Sirius Disorder channel 70 on Saturday, November 3 at 4 p.m. ET, with replays on November 4 at 6 p.m. ET, and Monday, November 5 at 2 p.m. ET.
